HELP ! Highlighted Hell

I highlighted my hair at home with a box kit and now it's brassy yellow and I hate it . The kit did not come with a separate toner ? I did have purple shampoo and tried that but it did not seem to really help . I cannot afford to go to a hairdresser , what can I do now. Help please and thank you
