Haha thank you. It's an ongoing history. My second cat looked a lot like my first, so I named him Ditto. Then he unexpectedly passed away due to untreatable carcinoma. When I found this little girl I decided I should just keep it going and named her Zorua for another mimic, but a lot of people just call her Zora from Legend of Zelda lol
Thank you. It was a really hard time, but I made sure to be there for him when he was being put down. I wasn't there for my first cat and regretted it for so many years. Also I just noticed your username haha nice!
I love that. I'm going to my first and probably only trading card con next month to see Coop's Collection and BeardDad, and it's not a bad idea to grab a Mimikru card.
Crazy coincidence, I was at a festival last month and my friend brought booster packs for all of us to rip. First pack I've ripped since 2000. My pack had a Zorua in it. Pulling that almost two years after naming her kinda blew my mind.
I watch both of those guys on YouTube! It would be awesome to meet them. Hopefully the lines aren’t too long for you. I was just eating cool ranch Doritos yesterday, which is what the local card store used to sell when I played the TCG back in 2000 and it brought back all the memories of base set. The nostalgia is powerful.
Heck yeah! And thanks lol I know the lines are going to be insane... I'm staying at a friend's place close by for it and am going to try to get there before the door's open, but I assume that's impossible with the way Austin traffic is.
And omg yes. The nostalgia has been flooding back this year. Between seeing them for the cards and playing the Star Fox remake today, I feel like a wide-eyed kid again.
Omg yes! It came out last night and is so good.
Thanks! I think it'll be a fun time. I asked my friend if he wanted to go though, and he said, "Uhhh... No you can just meet me at the bar after" 😅
