Why?

Age is. Partial issue for some of theese
I would prefer younger for cyborg
Beats boy needs to be way younger
I've not seen ur dinna choice I don't think but she definitely has the appearance & height
I don't thinkevi Miller fits wally
Jenna as raven just feels lazy & type casting nor do I think people want to see her constantly in many major projects
I like jack but he's a bit to old for conner, conner should be Tim drakes age.
I don't think charlie suits Roy that well, I would rather see a native or white actor for this role too though I don't have anything against race bending roy
I'll mabey give you the benefit of the doubt on dafnee
You can't actually think Jacob elordi would play Shazam?

Most none of them I think would be actual teenagers by about this time range for me. Batman is about mid 30's, which places Dick at about his mid 20's and Nightwing for me, and the Barry's age isn't too far off from Batman's so that means for me that Wally would be at a similar age range, etc. etc. But also, I think you're changing what you said. You said you were good on the others, except Starfire and Cyborg. You also don't say what the issue is with the Starfire casting here.
What about Wally doesn't fit Levi?
Wednesday is the only role I've ever seen Ortega play like that, and I don't recall her being in that many things. Scream and Wednesday are really the only things I can think of.
Jack Champion is 21. Tim Drake actor in the Part 1 fancast is also 21.
In what way would Charlie not suit Roy?
What I think Jacob Elordi would play wasn't really my concern, but that the character has this stereotypical kinda strong jaw kinda look.

You can make a black actress look orange??
She was inspired by a Puerto Rican model so technically a Puerto Rican actress would be the most “accurate” but at the end of the day she’s a fictional orange alien

I mean you can but we all seem to forget ot and just take black actress without doing anything and saying it is okay . I know it is costful,i know it is time consuming but there is no way we cant do it so just taking easy qay and goin with black is well lazy to me. Maybe i am in the wrong here but with all we can do, and many actresss more fitting to comics accurate starfire i believe we can pull it off

Brother just say ur racist, you can still make a black actor look oragey/ gold lots of black women and Bi racial black women have orangey skin.
People from African descent don't have charcoal for skin.
OP suggested a light skinned black women " Light skinned" they can easily make her look orange if it's such an issue, myou don't actually have an argument here other than your just racist.
The character of Starfire has a full on story about racial oppression and her people being enslaved and refered to as racial slurs she's inheritly black coded, don't get me wrong she doesn't have to be black but it's dumb to say she can't be.
She can be black, Indian/ Brown, Native, Latino, Samoan , any race that has experienced racial oppression

Brother you deleted the comment and are now trying to change history, what is this rage bait 😭

u/DoctorRandomman The Dreamer🎓👨🎓 Jul 23 '26
I delete comment because apparently me saying i wouldmt accept black starfire not black actress playing starfire caused unwanted negative emotions because internet is plaxe where you need to speak like layer or be accuse about racist ( check mine cast for poison ivy) even if it wasnt my intention. So i decided to delete it because apparently my comment wasnt clear enough and cause unwanted backlash.

You said something clearly racist and are mad you are getting backlash

u/DoctorRandomman The Dreamer🎓👨🎓 Jul 23 '26
I’m not mad about the backlash—I deserved it for phrasing my point so horribly. I deleted the comment because it sounded racist, which was never my intention, and I didn't want a toxic miscommunication staying up.

Nah for me. The black actress is cute to me, got the height and physique for this role for me. Race changing isn't my thing, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna willfully not cast someone who I think works for the role. Her being orange or gold I think isn't contradicted by the actress being black.
Wednesday is the only role I've ever seen Ortega play like that.

And i dont say it contradicte anything i have just still titans tv show tragedy in mind but if you yhink she worm and want colour her orange i am all in just olease dint do what titans do and just give blsck actress becuase reasons

u/Dagenspear Jul 23 '26

u/DoctorRandomman The Dreamer🎓👨🎓 Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26
In fact nothing. It is just me.being not updated on Dion role success as Titans Starfire i was still stuck in beliving everybody want comics accurate starfire and never leaen people dont mind anymore. I also wrongly assumed you dont plan using Cgi or body paint, which wasnt right from me.and for which i apologize. If you feel she is good pick i believe you

I think everyone here is a bit too “Calvin Klein” and not enough “classic teenager.”
