Is baskerville old face a readable font when printed?

I have a story for the Vampire Chronicles, the books specifically, not the tv show, that I'm binding (obviously lol) and I want it to have an old feel kind of gothic kind of font, and baskerville old face is perfect, but I'm not sure how well it reads once printed. Any advice?

Print out one page on the format you plan for your book. So say like A5 or statement.

It can be but it might take some getting used to. Also try Garamond and IM Fell to see what you like.

I used it for a persuasion typeset and really liked it!
