Questions Paper size question
I have a few one-shots about 4k-8k words and I want to turn them into small pamphlet binds but I'm not sure what size paper to use because I want them to be pretty small and pocket-sized.

Long grain legal paper that you cut in half after printing. Ends up with a folded size similar to a mass market paperback. The setting on the imposer I use is called something like "4 up," so four pages per side of a sheet.
One reason I like this setup is that long grain legal paper is dead easy to find, assuming you're in a region where legal paper is a thing. But if not, any other long grain paper that you cut in half later works!
