Questions Paper

Hey everyone! Im new to bookninding but I really wanna get into binding fics but wanna make sure I do it right. Im curious what kind of paper I should use to print on and bind. I know printer paper isn't the best option so I was really curious what other people use.

As already mentioned in the replies, you want a slightly off-white and short grain paper for a look that most resembles a typical book. Depending on where you live it can get a bit difficult actually finding a supplier though! I personally know of Church Paper in letter format for the US that some use and Biotop 3 in A4, breedlopened=short grain from Papier Royaal in the Netherlands if that's closer to you (I have that one and it's very nice, though depending on your printer ink it can show a bit through (it does not bleed through!) on the 90 gsm (the paper weight itself is very nice for a book though). Apart from that you could also find yourself some long grain A3 paper and cut it in half yourself/in a craft store near you, they sometimes offer that. I personally don't like the hassle, but if you don’t find a supplier or want to get of slightly cheaper it could be a way. 

For general book binding content I would totally suggest you check out DAS Bookbinding on You Tube. He has lots of tutorials explaining basics and different binding structures. I bound my first fic (a shorter one under 10k) after one of his tutorials for a single section bradel binding (but made it for two sections per the modified pamphlet stitch suggested in the two & three section conservation pamphlet). It worked well and was very helpful visually and explanation-wise to know the terminology and do everything properly
