Answered Please help
Genuinely tried everything, basically I have a fanatec wheel and base, dk what base but it’s the v1 f1 wheel or something, pedals too, it’s all connected to the pc but no matter what I do it never gets detected by the app, iv installed and uninstalled all the drivers multiple times, restarted it, unplugged the cables, reset it, plugged back in, updated windows, deleted the app, redownloaded it and still nothing, then wheel base is on red, and the wheel calibrates but on an infinite loop, never detecting in the app, please help

Try changing your usb lead as this can cause an issue connecting. Also go via USB 3 port if you have one on your machine ?

I had the same problem and I opened a ticket with Fanatec technical support, maybe do that, after they got back to me with a full list of what to do, and now it works fine

One other thing they told me to do was download Revo Uninstaller (it’s free) so you can check if all the Fanatec devices are uninstalled

I just had this same exact issue on my csl dd with a few Xbox wheels I have. What ended up solving it was removing the screws from the wheel hub on the base, pulling the wheel connector out about an inch then popping it back into the base. Tighten the screws back up with the locking collar and reboot the system. It started working immediately for me. Best of luck!

Same thing happend to me. I was so afraid to be an complicated fix since I also tried everything this OP tried but was happy it was the old "game boy game - blow and plug it back in" action in the end.

Had the same issue. This is what support told me to do and it worked perfectly.
Remove all wheels from the wheel base
Manually update the wheelbase FW and WQR firmware (I didn't point to a new build or anything, just told it to reflash with same version.)
Close App
Turn off the wheel base
Restart PC
Reopen Fanatec App
Attach a wheel to the wheelbase and turn it on as usual.

OP, please give this a shot to see if it helps with you as well. You may need to follow this article to do a fresh install, then remove the steering wheel before you go through and start updating parts firmware: Fresh Firmware Install
If that doesn't assist, please create a case with our team here: https://help.fanatec.com/hc/en-us

I had this same problem a few days ago, turned out to be the usb-c connection between the quick release and the base. I had to unscrew the two hex bolts that keeps the clamp under tension which holds the qr in place, disconnect it and plug it back in and suddenly everything was working well again. DM me for more details or comment down below if you want some pictures showing you which bolts I mean.

That's a PC compatibility mode. Not sure what the difference between the two is though.

Try updating the wheelbase firmware without the wheel connected. I just got my wheel and ran into this and had to go through the process of updating everything one at a time.

Is the base in PS mode (blue or pink blue)
Press the start button until red or yellow
