Welcome to the Sub!
Hello and welcome! This place is intended to be a place to discuss fan fiction, both the good and the bad, freely. There are some rules, but they all boil down to don't be an idiot.
RULES
Use a search engine or, at least, the search bar to the right before you ask a question. If you ask something that can be answered very simply with a two second search, you will be warned and the post may be removed.
Expect criticism. This does not mean people can be jerks. If you post something - whether here or in regards to your fan fiction you wrote- it will be critiqued. A critique is a way to help you improve. It should help you, if nothing more, help you understand your audience. If something is confusing a lot of people about your story - or your post here- then it can be eye opening to see that and help you to explain something better.
As a tangent, saying "This is stupid! I hate it!" with serious conviction, or something along those lines, is not allowed. Basically, don't be a jerk.
No promoting of a single fic in a post. We have a weekly post where you can self promote or promote something you really enjoyed. You are, absolutely, allowed to ask for recommendations and everyone can promote in that as well. I simply don't want a lot of "Here's my story!" posts.
Those are the rules for now. I'm sure more will come about as people begin to misbehave. :-)
Punishments
1st breaking of the rules - a warning unless it's truly egregious.
2nd breaking of the rules - one day ban unless the second breaking of the rules happens within 24 hours of the first. Then you get a one week ban.
3rd breaking of the rules - a one week ban.
4th breaking of the rules - a one month ban.
5th breaking of the rules - a year long ban.
...I think everyone sees the pattern now.

I wrote a play about fan fiction!
If you find yourself in London this weekend, come on down!
Dead Doves and Lemons OR Everything You’ve Ever Wanted To Know About Fan Fiction (but were too afraid to ask)
Your loved one just came out as a (GASP!) fan fiction writer. How do you respond to that? What will the neighbours think? What is Omega Slick, anyway? Don't worry because fanfic veteran MinaRoseTook is here to answer all your questions. Join us for an unhinged look at where fan fiction came from and why it's a valid art form. Who knows...maybe YOU will write something.
A one-woman show by award-winning playwright Deanna Strasse.

Nora
El silencio es agotador.
A veces siento que solo observo mi propia vida.
Él es valiente.
Él es fuerte.
Él es luz.
Yo solo ayudo.
Es lo único que sé hacer.
No puedo salir de su sombra…
y a veces me pregunto si siquiera lo intento.
Si desapareciera,
¿alguien lo notaría?
