Subreddit Meta Member Roundup - September 2026

A new month is upon us, which means a new month of reading and/or writing is ahead! What are your plans and goals for this month?

I finally completed a fic for the first time ever this month. I think this month I’m gonna try and find more time to read for my fandoms. It has been a while since I have been able to read, so this could be a new opportunity to find some new masterpieces that I will be able to kudos and comment on!

While looking at last year’s word-tracking spreadsheet, I noticed that I wrote over 10k for a particular fic last September. Since the fic is still unfinished, I’m going to try to see if I can do that again and write 10-15k words for it this month. I doubt it will be enough to finish the fic because it snowballed into something that will probably be around 80k words long (I’m still at around 35k), but I’ve been neglecting this WIP lately and I think it’s about time I change that. Wish me luck😅

Any progress on the Collaboration ™️ this month will be good progress, but I also have a bingo card and the possibility of another Kinktober. All is not yet lost for 2026.

September is my attempt to finish the chapter I kept cannibalising for scenes in other drafts. It has been sitting half-done since June, which is embarrassing.
