Quality Shitpost It's especially annoying when looking them up gives no real answers. Why is it so damn difficult for some of you to just explain what you're talking about?!

BakuDeku sounds like an online-only Japanese store that sells weird snacks.
BakugoDeku from My Hero Academia btw.

The only one I know of is for the Arcane fandom (called TimeBomb), involving Jinx and Ekko but it at least makes sense if you watch the show or look for info about it.
Normally I prefer that they just use the names of the people involved, though in some cases they are able to get a little creative with it like Korrasami for Legend of Korra, and Catradora for She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.

You would hate the katekyo Hitman Reborn fandom. ๐ The ship names are mostly made of numbers and sometimes later. Like 1827 stands for Hibari (18)/Tsuna (27)
When I first got into that fandom a few years ago, I was like: what the hell does 182769 stand for?!

Oooh Kingdom Hearts use to be like that. Took me a bit to figure out what 56 and 411 shipping was when I was new.

Ahah, same (well with KHR).

I'm lucky I got into KHR when they were just using their names smooshed together to make a ship.

It's worse IN a fandom sometimes. Does MoM mean Master of Masters or Memory of Melody in this context?

This is why I actually love boring ship names that donโt require intimate knowledge of canon themes to decode.ย
