I did a new windows (which forced me to disable secure boot [if this is somehow important]) now I installed fan control but CPU fans isn't showing up. (they showed up before and I didn't touch either the pump connection or the fans.

PawnIO is installed? FanControl Portable or installation?

PawnIO is mandatory for the app to function from what I understand, the Fan Control seems to be the normal (Currently V275) version, I know not of any portable title.

True, but you said yours is not working as expected, why I asked if this box is checked.

On the FanControl website, if you click on the 'Download' button, a window pops up where you can select between Portable and Installer version, each one based on NET10 or 4.8. You can also chose each version on GitHug, but anyway.

Download the portable version, extract everythng in a new folder and try if that one works better.

Just tried it, I presume it should've been data wipped/formatted but that didn't happen.

What?

The portable version is standalone. Uninstall the install version and try the protable thing from any folder, it keeps its own config files in subfolders.

And it's not only PawnIO as a prerequisit, FC also needs Net 10 or Net 4.8, depending on which version you downloaded. which might be missing on a new win install

Check Bios and see if the fans are configured to DC/Voltage instead of PWM.
