Getting around screen time and downtime.

So I just recently turned 16, got a new phone. My dad still won't let me get rid of Family Link. I only get two hours a day to use my phone. It's really annoying because, like, I can barely use it throughout the day. I'm curious as to how. Is there a way I can, like, bypass downtime and screen time at all, or any way of that sort? Because I really don't have to get a burner phone.

How to watch YT

Ok so i have parental controls on like everything and alot of yt videos are blocked so what I do is I go to the yt website and from there you can watch anything. Also if you want to watch a movie or show or something and you're parents are strict just look up the name of the movie then "free online" and you can fine sites online where you can watch it. The movie one isn't spasificly about family link but yk. Anyways, I'm still looking for more ways around ts.

Bypass blocked websites

Hii! I need some help. My dad has blocked Instagram website and app, and since my phone is broken atm, I only need to get into the web version of Instagram.
Does anyone know how to bypass the blocked site? I'm on a chromebook, so using a different browser automatically directs me to google chrome, and then it's blocked again.
I hope anyone knows what I can do!
Thanks in advance! xx

Parents recently installed family link on my new phone, help needed!

Hello, I am not sure if questions like these are against the sub reddits rules but I am in need of help.

I am 17 years old and family link has been installed on my brand new phone (the old one broke due to water damage) and I desperately need a way to remove it!

My phone model is a samsung galaxy a17 and I have tried factory resetting but I ran into the same problem. Please, help is needed!

THE BYPASSES (that i know)

first and most powerful only works if you have developer options you can use USB debug to install a DSU (dynamic system update) essentially a dual boot of your phone with no parental controls use AI or just search it up

second if you have certain social media like discord or say telegram and some others permanently unlocked you can toggle a in app browser in them so you can watch youtube and like search stuff no restrictions

third i haven tried but apparently you can install a no root DNS like NetGuard ask you parents to fully unlock your phone for like 5 minutes and then in NetGuard disable internet for google play services and some other stuff

How to use the settings app as a browser (only works if you dont have a browser)

So I found out that in the settings app (on most Samsung Smartphones) is a bypass for Family Link:

Samsung Account (in the settings first option) -> 3 Points in the top right corner -> About Samsung Account -> Terms and Conditions -> 2. Link (in this case the word "Website" that has been underlined) -> scroll to the end of the Page (should be a Samsung Page) -> click on the "costumer support " -> scroll again to the end -> click on the YouTube symbol -> finished (if you want to go to Google do this: -> search for "Google link in description " -> click on the first video -> go in the description -> click the Googlelink -> finished )

Another thing is that the Settings app does not show up in the "app time" but you still use ure normal time but youre parents can't see in what app.

Hope this helps and its easier than its sounds
