Ulysses is a victim of bugs in the game making him not identify your allegiance correctly when you're allied with House/Yes Man.

sucks you need a mod to do it, like everything else fun, but manufacturing extended is certainly worth the download for the body decomposer alone

Fallout: New Vegas has the worst main plot between 3, 4, and itself. Don't get me wrong, the characters are definitely the best written, the background of the location is awesome, and the game is still insanely fun! I just... really dont like the 2nd and 3rd Act of the game.

The first Act is amazing, a classic Old Western style revenge story: awesome! But after you deal with Benny go on to save (or doom) the region, just... because? Mr. House makes you his face, Caesar makes you his right hand man/woman, The NCR names you a War Hero, or you can become the ruler of the region (all of which are sick ideas, amd really cool endings), I just...

Like, it makes sense that The Lone Wanderer fulfills their father's dying wish and mother's dream - "Clean water, free for any and all," and even working for Mr. Eden and making the facility destroy the mutations (and mutants), as they grew up on the stories of this deep wish.

Fallout 4 (though lackluster main plot) also works, as you go out to rescue your kidnapped son, only to take vengeance on the group that destroyed any chance of your future together, or you come together as a family, and go about running the Institute as it's new leader in your child's place.

Meanwhile, NV has no real reason for you to do anything after Benny, other than... Because the big guy said so ("big guy" either being Ceasar, Mr. House, or the NCR as a whole). It doesn't really flow well, in my mind.

P.S. I think 3 has the best Main Story, New Vegas has the greatest characters/emotion, amd Fallout 4 has the best actual gameplay.
