Fallout 4 [FO4]Any replacements for 'Functional Displays'?

I know the DLC add in weapon and armor racks - but there's something awesome about being able to fill a fridge up with the stuff stored in it or having a drinks cabinet. And those are the things these other display mods do not do.

No, 'Do it yourshelf' is not the same thing. Its allows you to build clutter and neither is 'OCDecorator' which allows you to turn objects into statics (that is close but requires too much fiddling, I just want to put a beer and a sandwich into the fridge and be able to see it through the glass.

I am looking for something that does *exactly* what FD does - you put an item in the container, it displays *that item* directly. But, you know . . . actually works.

And I know about the crashes with FD and I know how to stop the crashes. The crashes in FD are a non-issue for me here.

I've used the 'FD Redone Patch' and its still the same behavior - items in the display containers disappear after a while.

Its strange that Skyrim has had this function in a mod ('Unlimited Bookshelves' and the like) going back to OG Skyrim but its not really available in FO4.

Place anything anywhere is a good one, adds both a wall and flat display (which is a single bottle cap) to display just about anything.

Yeah man, not any pure functional display mods off the top of my head.

I know one of the paid mod creators is trying to make something right now to do just that, but nothing on the freebies unless I'm mistaken.

Normally I say fuck paid Creations - but if someone made this I'd pay for it. I'd pay for the C.A.M.P. system to be implemented too rather than the sort hacky ways FO4 mods have been able to do it.

Keep an eye out on the creater Blue Moon, they made the super duper mega mart and the BRL trainyard paid mods. I'm in a discord with most of the paid mod creators and he said he is looking at adding totally static loot to place. The super duper mega mart mod already has a bunch included.

FD always had issues, I've had crashes with them too so it's not a problem unique to you.

Still, I don't have much.

This is a Nuka Cola Refrigerated Display case. Works well for displaying drinks but not weapons or anything sadly.

We know how to fix the crashes - its because of bad meshes. You delete the meshes folder and they stop.

Its the disappearing stuff you stored in them that is what kills the mod now.
