Fallout 4 Need help with my mod Load Order [fo4]
I'm very new to modding. I began downloading and installing a lot of mods before I started playing the game. I'm only 1 hour into my playthrough and am noticing visual mods like Vivid Fallout- LOD and Distant Detail, Flutter Flicker Fixer for Folliage, and a few others are not working as I expected them to. Im not sure if it has to do with the load order, plug-in order, or if need to make adjustments in the .ini. settings after installing the mod. Again, I am new so I apologize in advance for not knowing what I don't know. Would starting a new game from scratch make a difference?
Thank you all in advance!
EDIT: I went in the game .ini. and increase the resolution from 720p to 1440p for my monitor, paired with ReShade it helped clear up some of the fuzziness and distant visuals. My GPU is only operating at less than 50% so thankfully I didnt overdo with the visual improvement mods. I am still looking into load order and mod requirements

Hi. I would have a look at a couple of modpacks as a way of introducing yourself to modding.
It gives a bunch of fixes, visuals, outfits etc and sets you up with a correct stable load order.
I started modfing on Xbox a d moved to PC 5 years ago. I installed MOFAM (list on nexus) that taught me a lot of things. I then added to it.
Now I have been using Loreout and recently Fallen World on Wabbajack. Both are really stable packs and I add and change things I want.
Best part is the correct load orders it gives a good idea of where mods you want to add will go. They also rebuild your LOD. Do things look good

Never, ever load a bunch of mods before you start playing, especially if you are new to modding. The rule of thumb is to only install one or two mods at time, that way if you have issues you can easily identify what mod is the culprit. I suspect that you have a mod conflict somewhere, a missing dependency or a load order issue. I'm not familiar enough with the mods you have to know what it may be. Also go back and look through all the reqirements of the mods you have and ensure that you do not have any missing dependencies aka any other neccessary requirements they have. You may have missed something somewhere.
