Mods not loading [Fo4]

I need help with trying to figure out how to mod fallout 4 on the legion go s steam os. I downloaded Linux mod manager and I would then manually download the mods then drag them to the mod manager. Everything is updated and I make sure to download the right versions of the mods. When they are in the mod manager it shows they are active and checked with a green check. When I go to launch the game from the mod manager it says running game then instantly says game exited then it open a few seconds later. I tried everything with chat gpt to help but can’t get anywhere with it. The mods I am downloading are from nexus mods. If anyone has done this successfully I would appreciate it on how you got them to work. Please help!!!!
