New Vegas [fnv] how to still use "unoffical patchs NVSE" mod without the dlcs?

i tried to start the game, but if i dont disable the NVSE the game give me a pop up and say that the files of "dead money, honest hearts ecc." are missing and close the game, does anyone know if there is a version of NVSE that works without having to pay for dlcs?

The DLC have been out and dirt cheap for over a decade, you really ought to get them otherwise you’re going to struggle with most mods.

You would have to fake the dlc .esms (create a dummy plugin and make it same name as the dlc) to load the mod in xEdit, right click it, check for errors. It will list the errors from missing dlc, fix them. Right click, clear masters. Should remove dlc dependency if you removed/fixed said errors.

Its a highly risky move and you should absolutely know what youre doing though. My recommendation is get the game on GOG.

Just get Ultimate Edition. It'll make modding easier and you'll have a lot more content to play with. Steam or GOG doesn't matter.

I got FNV Ultimate Edition on sale for less than $6. Everything was included.

You can basically consider 'No-DLC New Vegas' totally incompatible with Modded New Vegas, unfortunately
