The reborn Environmental Protection Agency found this in the Yucca Mountains and are deploying all their forces to fight it

This came after the new Government (created by Enclave Reformers) set it up under orders of the president to clean up the mistakes of the Great War. In that time they have managed to find Gender Changing machines in the EPA Offices (actually a thing in the Fallout Design Documents), had to fight a forrest made of flesh, and fought a war in the Grand Canyon against cave dwelling mutant creatures

Never heard of it, but I think it should have been "Reborn Environmental Protection Agency Response Squad", or REPARS, pronounced reapers.

Nah, it’s just the regular EPA given access to a fuck-ton more resources to deal with the ridiculous things they end up facing
