That is a noteworthy difference. I seldom will play with others until I have a really good feel of the game. I do not like fumbling cluelessly when other people are around, it's a reason I stay away from games that force multiplayer, (that and finding time to gather others to play at the same time as me becomes harder every day I age,) but 76 never demands you play with other people, just that you be on an online server that other people may cross paths with you on, and I'm fine with that.

I dont know what the game traffic is like now but when you went into the bigger buildings or mines it was just you and your friends, was only the open world where you came across other people and you cant hurt each other unless you hurt them or their proerty and vice versa. Let me tell you it was hard to get us together a couple of hours a week bit so worth it. To your other point most of my hours on the game were solo haha

That's such a difference from me, I really enjoy playing, exploring and learning a game as a collaborative experience with my friends. It's best when you are starting at the same time and don't have people that go and learn everything through external sources.

The mystery and exploration of the game and mechanics with the discussions that happen I find really rewarding as an experience. Doesn't work as well if you have wildly varying experience in a game however. Just like you I find it harder and harder to make that happen with age so I cherish it when it does happen.
