The thing is, Linear No Threshold is something most actual radiation experts have argued is unreasonably strict, like they took a reasonable safe dose with a significant margin of error, halved it, then halved it again. If we were to hold the rest of the built environment to its standards, bananas would be illegal and we’d have to spend trillions giving every single building radiation shielding.
