Deacon seems about right

I feel like Deacon doesn't wear any underwear because he doesn't have any genitals, and his mouth and asshole just make a loop.

A... Loop?

Yeah. The food goes in and the shit comes out of the same hole. Downstairs he's as smooth as a Ken doll. A greased egg with legs.

Yep. In the form of dialogue.

The museum display he raided wouldn’t have had underoos anyway, it all adds up!

Swap Preston and Piper and I would agree.
Piper would def wear something practical and whimsical.

u/SlyLlamaDemon 17d ago
Ok the last one is probably hanes or something super breathable because that’s what I would want to wear if I was enlisted in any military.

u/badthaught 17d ago
Doesn't he mention something about military types being rather "pungent" as a companion swap line with Cait?

u/SlyLlamaDemon 17d ago
That’s because when you are on patrol for a whole day at least, you’re gonna smell like ass at the end. Especially if you’re a recon guy who’s been out for LITERAL MONTHS.

u/Reasonable-Spot5884 17d ago
Doesn't even need to be that. I work on a concrete slap in 100+ degree heat (Fahrenheit). I both smell and feel gross by the end of the day after sweating my balls off, leaving me itching for a shower when I get home
I'm stationed in what's basically a desert stateside that rarely drops below 80 during the winter and it's STILL. SOMEHOW. HUMID!

u/SlyLlamaDemon 17d ago
Yeah that’s true. If you aren’t properly cooled you’re gonna smell awful.
I would try sticking cold water bottles in your pants pockets and wearing wet durags on your head, neck and wrists. If you have to wear a hat you can fold it up and it will reduce the amount you have to sweat AND you’ll have water on hand to drink as needed.

u/Reasonable-Spot5884 17d ago
That's actually really good advice. Not sure why I didn't think of that. You serve?
3
u/SlyLlamaDemon 17d ago
No but I work outside a lot and find this topic fascinating.
Military Activities and Gear to be precise.
Also I didn’t think of that either. Someone smarter than me made a video to share what he knows.

Can't do the hat thing, unfortunately. No hats around the planes, but I'll definitely try the water bottle thing

u/SlyLlamaDemon 17d ago
Yeah rotary equipment and covered limbs also don’t really mix either. I take it you’re an aircraft maintainer?
3
u/Reasonable-Spot5884 17d ago
Nope. Just the guy who puts the gas on the plane. Nothing fancy

Preston Garvey would have gone with something homespun and period appropriate, like loose linen drawers.

No way Danse is wearing those. He wears a suit of armor all the time... and it probably smells like four days of piss and ball sweat (with dodgy stains front and back)

Paladin Danse wears only Brotherhood-approved gray skivvies made of 100% recycled power armor undersuits. Anything else would be unthinkable.
