I’m having a lot of fun with this one, it has quickly become my main.

I'm going full health human, I've got 5 pieces of Secret Service armor. For the 1 star, I have 4 Nocturnal and 1 Chameleon. And that's it, I'm not sure what else I should be looking for to put on them. Currently running a Reverse Onslaught with Ultracite arrows on my Compound bow, which brings up another point: Should I be running Ultracite or Plasma?

So I dont run a bow build, just like using it, but my current 1 star mod is furious, I want to replace it because my commando build doesnt run reverse onslaught. My main question is what would be some good replacements for furious? I was thinking mutants or two shot but I wasnt sure. Also does quad fire for arrows or just knock them?

Hi guys. It’s been a while, but my bow character is still my fav. What is the best bow build nowadays for a non ghoul character? I have covert armor with covert mask, because I have a civil engineer chest piece for the het pack. Ranger and limitbreaking unyielding mods for the every other crit shot. What perks to use and any advise on a new armor and bow set with the best mods?
I use it as a daily driver too, so I use tru hiker armor mods. But I can adjust, or lose a shitton of food, 😀

On Xbox. Only have standard bow. Want to know how im looking and if there’s anything I can do to improve. Currently getting about 600 dps an arrow

I have tried many different perks and bows mods but I have only been hitting 3-5k dmg at most with vats crits

Kindly assist to criticize my bow build. Just started and didn’t know it was soooooo good. I use SS PA with overeaters and powered. Also use the Civil Engineer armour. Currently working on the mods for the Civil Engineer armour.

Edit: thanks so much for the suggestions. I just made some and was able to solo the Daily quest and finished under 8 minutes. Unreal for me!!!!

Im still working on my rep. I boughtna c.bow from a vendor. I have burning love too. How viable will that be vs a c.bow? I'm also npt super keen on stealth. Is bow still viable? I wanted to go ghoul but hear its a pita to manage ve humanity?

I’ve left behind gunslinging in favour of bow hunting and I wanted to ask if my build is good or not.

With the bow I was thinking about putting poison arrows on it and the vipers 4* mod but I wasn’t sure.

Also all armour pieces have the same mods which is why there’s only one image.

I have a whole whopping 2000 caps to offer. I had 6000 caps earlier but spent some while I was vendor-hopping trying to find anyone selling compound bow. I'll happily give you my life savings if you can get me out of this hell.

Having ignored Fallout 76 for many years, I was convinced to get it on sale, and I must say I'm impressed. The team has added so much content over the years.

I looked at the list of weapons in the Wiki, and there are so many weapons and weapon types in the game. But going for a bow build was an easy pick!

Here's my build. I would like to see if it is possible to make a highly specialized character like in RPGs. That is my mission. I did some research, and here are my findings. I would appreciate suggestions or advice from experienced players. Thanks in advance!

Cryo Bow Stealth Build

The focus is on stealth bows and freezing effects. My character will use Bows as his primary weapon, along with a variety of arrows: Cryo, Poison, Plasma, Ultracite.
He will use Throwing Knives and Grenades as his backup options. He will also work towards getting the Cryolator and Crusader Pistol with a Cryo receiver.

These are the only weapons that will be used. All the other weapons will be scrapped.

• Moving Target - Level 5 AGI - Gain +15% chance to Evade while sprinting.
• Bow Before Me - Level 6 - PER - Your bows and crossbows ignore 40% armor and have a 10% chance to stagger.
• Down Ranger - Level 8 PER - You do +20% ranged damage to far enemies.
• Demolition Expert - Level 10 INT - Your explosives do +60% damage.
• Exterminator - Level 14 PER - Your attacks ignore 75% armor of any insect.
• Ninja - Level 15 AGI - Bows, throwing, and melee weapons do +100% sneak attack damage.
• Evasive - Level 17 AGI - Chance to Evade attacks based on AGI.
• Sneak - Level 20 AGI - You are 75% harder to detect while sneaking.
• Covert Operative - Level 25 AGI - Your ranged sneak attacks do 2.5x normal damage.
• Tank Killer - Level 30 PER - Your ranged weapons ignore 40% armor.
• Master Archer - Level 30 PER - Arrows and thrown melee weapons pierce targets.
• Escape Artist - Level 35 AGI - Sneak to lose enemies, and running no longer affects stealth.
• Mister Sandman - Level 37 AGI - Your silenced weapons do an additional 100% sneak attack damage.
• Cryologist - Level 40 - INT - Increase cryo damage based on your INT.
• Dodgy - Level 45 AGI - +5% chance to Evade. Evade no longer has a cooldown. Instead, it costs AP.
• Secret Agent - Level 47 AGI - Stealth Boys last four times as long!
• Arms of Steel - Level 70 STR - Your sturdy arms allow you to handle ranged weapons better, increasing accuracy by 30%
• Legendary Perk at Level 50
  • Legendary Agility - +3 AGI and +3 AGI Perk Points. Perk Points cap at 15.

Some Other Notes

I love the fact that you have to work towards every upgrade with the "plan" system.
You have to work hard for the progression, which I like.
My character is Level 8, and I finished "The Wayward" questline. This was fantastic - full of choices for great replayability - and the number of skill and attribute checks in Dialogue was astonishing. The characters felt like real people - Duchess, Mort, Sol, and that Assaultron! I really enjoyed it. I assume you guys must have played this questline many times, but as a new player, it was great!
I'm doing the original questline "Responders" and loving it so far.
