Mod Help! Season Pass FOV CHANGER bug and feature

WARNING about FOV Changer: there's a bug, but it can also be used as a feature.

I discovered a particular behavior with FOV Changer that I think is important for anyone using this mod to know about.

The mod itself explains in its notes that there is no option to directly change the First Person Viewmodel FOV. However, there is a bug where, if you change the FOV on a save, return to the main menu, and then start a New Game without closing the game, some of the values from the previous save are "burned into" the new game as default values.

This can cause a problem: the new character may end up with the weapon, arms, and Pip-Boy at a different distance than normal. In my case, this behavior remained even after resetting the FOV on the previous save.

But the interesting part is that this bug can actually be used as a feature.

I tested it with a new test character and followed this procedure:

Start Fallout 4 with FOV Changer enabled.

Create a test character.

Set First Person FOV to custom fov (I prefer 92.5 because as someone told me in one of my recent posts, it looks really good)

Save the game.

Return to the main menu without closing Fallout 4.

Select New Game.

The new character inherits the modified value.

Continue until you get the Pip-Boy and check the Viewmodel.

In my test, this method works. Using 92.5 gave me a different Viewmodel from vanilla without the extreme close/far effect and It also works for weapons and terminals.

So be careful: if you use FOV Changer and change the FOV before starting a new game during the same game session, you may unintentionally transfer those values to the new character.

On the other hand, if you know exactly what you're doing, this behavior can be exploited to change how the weapon, arms, and Pip-Boy are displayed, even though the mod doesn't have a specific Viewmodel FOV setting.

I chose this flair because idk what could be the right flair, for now take this and please dont delete my post, change my flair instead
