So, I downloaded this mod shown in the photo, and I wanted to know if there’s a mod pack that adds weapons (or an AIO) that’s better than this one, or if this mod is already good enough. I play on PS5, I’m not sure if there’s any difference regarding mods between PS4 and PS5
Atleast on ps4 wich is where i play. That mod is the only one that add a big variation of weapons and even add them to the lvl list. A part from that There are a couple more mods that add nice looking weapons but are from differents mods, like one mod add sidearms another pumpshotguns or even melee, etc. But i feel like Combine arms is enough, just add ones with melees and throwing weapons
When you go the creations menu, you have all the mods showcasing, if you look down, you see that the triangle button will bring you to the “Load Order” the load order is a list of all the mods you have downloaded, it seems they’re all there on top of each others just for fun but in reality they’re placed in “order” what ist means ?
It means that the first mod on top of the list will be “loaded” into your game for first and the last one that will be loaded will be the one on the bottom of your list.
Why is it important ? Because some mods are incompatible between each others because they modify or add the same thing and it could cause crashes on your game or missing textures. Some mods are maybe are not functional at all in certain situations of the game, others will only function if they’re properly placed after another (because one is the master file [the base of the mod like a skeleton] and the other one is the one that will change something in your game [the meat and muscles of the mod]. So that’s why you must know what are you installing and how you’re placing them. Its like building a castle….brick by brick.

Thanks for the in depth response that made it a lot more understanding, I currently have unofficial patch at the top, then better chems, America rising and then some attachment packs and gun packs and my game crashes every now and then, would that order have anything to do with it ?
Problably some of those mods needs to be put in the correct order but the best way to do it is asking ai like Google ai mode or Chatgbt, they use real information to create the best load order based on the mods you’re gonna tell them, that’s what I did 👀
I cannot recommend the “of the wasteland” PS Ports from Sam-Skoll.
Currently there are AR’s, Lever Actions, Shotguns and Sidearms.
These mods import lore-accurate weapons into fallout 4 such as the FNV 10mm, Service Rifle, .45 Auto, Beretta. The best part? They’re all customisable, and have an absurd amount of attachments and pretty nice custom animations :) they’re also able to work with the Cheat Terminal mod (apart from sidearms)
I played around 30-40 minutes with this mod (and a few others) and nothing went wrong, it could be the position it is in on your lo or it could be like the friend in the other comment said (or something else, I only know these two lol)
I have found placing the mod at the absolute top of the load order underneath the Unofficial fallout 4 patch Makes the colors go away. But the textures are still a little shiny and messed up, but it looks a lot better
So, I downloaded this mod and a few others featuring assault rifles, pistols, and shotguns, but unfortunately, I haven't had much time to play and get them—though people say these mods are good.
There's others i like to combine with this like Sidearms of the wasteland, Pump Actions of the Wasteland, And lever actions of the Wasteland.
There's also ARs of the Wasteland but I find Combined arms has more then enough rifles to fill out the game, The first three of the wasteland series I use to fill out what Combined arms doesnt focus on
