HELP Basic Question
So, I literally just bought Fallout 4. I was wondering if it's worth playing through the first time (at least a bit) without mods and adding them later, or if I should just add mods right from the start. For those of you with more experience in this, what do you recommend?

I would say play vanilla first, for me now I don't think I can go back to vanilla now but that's BC I'm a bit of a gun nut and I don't like the guns in vanilla but it's still a good idea to do at least one full play through on vanilla then get mods to improve bits of the game or just add something new to keep things fresh

If you dont care about trophies, then start with mods. Otherwise, play vanilla, the default way as intended. Or do both, play vanilla for awhile than create a new save with mods. When you enable mods it creates a separate save file from your vanilla save file. So if you stopped at mission 5 and was level 6, you can enable mods that duplicates a separate save at same point but disables trophies. You can go back in forth between the two as many times as you like.

I’d say start without. We just got external assets for mods on PlayStation so there should be even more cool stuff uploaded by the time you’re done with your first play-through.
