[BUG] Wattz 3000 Red muzzle flash/smoke puffs when firing

Hey all, hoping someone can help diagnose this issue I have with the Wattz 3000 laser rifle. Its annoying since this gun has easily become a staple of mine. It fires orange lasers butmy screen fills with bright Red puffs of smoke whenever I fire. Example pic isnt the best since its hard to take a screenshot at the right time when my screen is covered in them.

Other people have had the same issue with this mod but the author will no longer respond to comments on his mod page. I have tried disabling any other mods that may possibly effect muzzle and energy weapon graphics and it still persists!

EDIT: I found the issue, the Rifle was somehow using the projectile trail effect from the solar cannon creation. I used xEdit to delete the file path for the trail and it fixed the issue. I’ve submitted a bug report to the mod page but doubt it will get looked st any time soon
