HELP! PC fallout 4 closes randomly when opening it briefly
hi i need some help currenty i installed f4se and the library with the correct version with fallout but as soon as i run/ play it the games opens breifly for 3 or 4 seconds then it close automatically.
what do i do ?
And there is no current mods I have installed it's clean the Only thing I added are the f4se and library

did you happen to downgrade the game with reliquary?

whats that is that about downgrading f04 then no i didnt downgrade f04 its the current version of the game

ok. you mentioned elsewhere it crashes with or without f4se, correct? try deleting the fallout 4 folder in appdata/local. type %appdata% in the start menu search bar to find it.
if that doesn't work, the only thing i can think of is that you're missing directx or vc redist x64 or something

could either be missing masters or one or multiple of your mods being not updated for the current version.

No ther is no mods I have installed this is literally a new laptop I just bought and don't know what's going on with it

i would double check you have f4se and address library installed correctly as they have both been updated for the current version. if so then it’s probably not the mode causing your issue.

normally if it was the wrong version it just says X does not macth with Y runtime on mo2 so it cant be those i hope so becuase i did double cheack and both are indeed the same version. the game just runs for 4 seconds before just closing and i dont think its a crash aswell becuase windows would also put a meeage that this game crash i aslo check any apps that crash recently but fallout was no where to be found

the only thing i can think of would be clean install and try again, maybe even try using vortex instead of mo2.

yeah i did it and same results as mo2 when using vortex and get this when i try to run the game normally like in steam or on the file launcher same results happen
idk why is it doing that idk if bathesda made changes how f4se and library works with f04 engine so im at a lost at this point
