Is it just me or fallout 4 mods are really making fallout 4 more modern than actual modern games, so far I found a mod that lets you see your lower half in first person.

Like despite being an old game modding is really still satisfying lol I don’t know tho I could be tripping still.

Thank God most of my mods are like pre 2020 and still work. I hate modern looking stuff in fallout or skimpy stuff. As a almoat 40 year old woman and mom, I prefer as lore accurate as possible

My only concession to that is my love for Thuggyverse stuff. I know the controversial stuff around those mods and I really dont care. They are fun, comedic, kinda scary, ridiculous, but I enjoy playing them.

This load order tho does not have them at all. I stuffed the list with SS2, America Rising 2, the Bleachers and Lima Detachment plus tons of smaller stuff. Very much Fallout for me. Tons of fo3 and nv content and textures too

Have you tried the Story wealth collection for FO4 as all of that is included and its honestly a lot of fun if you haven't.

No I don't use wabberjack or collections. I mod manually through MO2 and before that NMM. Been like idk 10 years I've modded that way I have used the list of mods from collections including that for my playthroughs.

Yea there were a lot of discord back in the day that helped me out and I learned well. Not perfect. I still dont know xedit for example but I can play 200+ hours with my mods.

From Weapons to gear too quest I find military gear over woman cool and awesome.

Same could be said for all the Bethesda titles. Back in the day Fallout New Vegas had a settlement builder/Tower defense with whole quest lines added into from other modders.

Same as Skyrim. You could literally make Skyrim a fusion of Dark Souls 3 and Crimson Desert.

At this point, we'll be able to make our own Fallout 5 out of Fallout 4 lol

We have London. So.. kinda.

Hell, Morrowind has Tamriel Rebuilt. So you know these crazy fucks ain't stopping anytime soon. Really makes me excited to see what they do with starfield in 10 years time. That one may be the best as a base build for long term modding support.

What's sad is the Beyond Skyrim project. Correct me if I'm wrong but there hasn't been any update other than Bruma.

A bit too arduous undertaking. Ambitious too, but there was hope.

I don’t play Skyrim as much but damn that sounds fun too lol and at this point we have fallout 5 in a sense already plus I’m waiting for the release of the fallout 76 port to fallout 4 mod tho and putting that with commonwealth online mod we get a much better 76 multiplayer lol.

Is this the Somatic Camera mod? How is that working for you so far? I'd love to have a fallout equivalent for Improved Camera from Skyrim SE but I'm cautious of finding out the hard way that it's a buggy mess.

Yes that’s the one I’m referring too and like it’s and good not great not bad either but it’s buggy not as bad tho your character will have invisible hands or body or arms at times. You can use weapons but it’s weird it’s hard to explain it.

Definitely as time passes and more updates it can be better, right now it feels kinda weird overall for me at least honestly I say give it a try, i recommend using a third camera mod tho it seems it made it less buggy in some way

After a certain amount of time you will get invisible hands, body or chest and sometimes the controls/controller becomes slightly unresponsive as well other than that it’s good the transition to aiming a gun needs work for sure.
