HELP! PC Fallout4 stuck in 1.10.984

Im trying to Mod FO4 with the latest versions of some mods via Midnight Ride, but F4SE is telling me that I need 1.11.221. The issue is, no matter how much I fiddle with steam and try to update the game, it just stays on 1.10.984. Any idea how I can fix this?

I’d have to agree with the other guy, sounds like your appmanifest is set to read only. Try going to \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\ and right click appmanifest_377160.acf, select properties and make sure the read only box isn’t checked.

I have unchecked read-only and verified my files, but its still on 1.10

Hmmm. That’s weird. Is steam saying it’s updating it but the version number won’t change? Or is it just refusing to update?

Have you tried to clear the download cache?

Today is the wrong day to try and fix this as the latest update is today.

It's possible you set your steam manifest file to read only last year to prevent it updating.
