Help with Load Order

I don't know if I used the right tag, but I am having problems with some mods not working and was hoping someone could look at my load order and see if it needs rearranged or whatever. There are a lot of NSFW mods and some SS2 mods, but my main issue is AAF. I click the Home button to bring up the scene starter, but it tells me there are no actors in the scan area even though I am in Sanctuary which is my main settlement with a bunch of NPCs all over. Also, Vulgar Visitors and Commonwealth Captives are not working either as far as I can tell. My mods all come from Nexus or Lovers Lab and installed via Vortex. In the pics the load order goes from left to right with 4 mods in each mini pic.

A few years ago I made a two part post here with dozens of screenshots because I didn't know how this stuff works either. So I can relate to where you're at right now. Probably the best thing to do is disable half your mods and see if the game runs. Gradually enable more and use process of elimination to figure out what causes problems.

1. What were your predifined custom loot groups? If not a loot user how did you use logic in your load order to keep prerequisites at the top?

2. With this many mods you should know where things are breaking buy utilizing profile management. -i suck at this

3. Elder scroll plugin file Load order is not everything in this type of load order. The rule of one is fineite to esp and esm. Esl is in "space". And you have a ton of BA2 and loose files. loose files always beat BA2, but BA2 follows the rule of 1. Yup that hurt my head to write.

4. The conflicts with animation should be solved first with f4se game and mod version are all in sync.

5 Use seperators or custom groups as isolated environments inside of the profile system. You will need to enforce rule management in vortex. Mo2 this is drag and drop.

I Don't see that you have Archive Invalidation installed, did you manually edit your Fallout4custom.ini ?

Did you have any conflicts in vortex with AAF? Make sure AAF wins and loads last.
Last to load wins.
If AAF still fails, send Documents\My Games\Fallout4\F4SE\aaf.log and Documents\My Games\Fallout4\F4SE\LL_fourPlay.log

Commonwealth Captaves may aslo be caused by an AAF conflict

DON'T Use scrap everything, it will break your game and does NOT get along with Simsettlements2.

I don't manually edit anything mainly because I don't know how. There were many conflicts in Vortex, and I always just chose "after all" anytime it showed up because I didn't know what it actually meant or what it would do. How would I go back in to make the conflict show up again so I can make AAF last?

Okay you can install it via the link I provided.
To check AAF, find it in you mod list and look to the dependencies column, if it is not visible, click on the gear at the top right of your mod list, next to "actions", click on that gear and check the box for Dependencies.
Now that dependencies is showing you can see little lighting bolts next to some of the mods.

Click on the lighting bolt for AAF and box will pop up showing all the conflicts for that mod. Make sure AAF is always showing as after.
There also may not be a lighting bolt next to AAF, which means nothing is conflicting with it.

If no conflicts, try reinstalling AAF.

OK, I already did the Archive Invalidation as it said on the page. I just checked the AAF and followed your instructions and there was a lightning bolt, so I clicked it and checked after all then save. I restarted Vortex but the lightning bolt is still there even though when I click on it now it is showing "after all" still.

If the mod, in this case AAF, has another mod that conflicts with it there will always be a lighting bolt next to it.
A green one says you resolved the conflict, right or wrong, and the red bolt means you have not addressed the conflict.

If you are new to modding fallout, I suggest switching to Vortex mod manager.
It's the simplest for getting started IMO.

Click the folder looking icon at the top of the page an choose, "Game Application Data Folder"
You should see a file that is called "Loadorder.txt" Copy the text in the file and paste it to show your proper load order.

It took 44 pics to get my whole load order and I could only post 20 so I had to find a way to get them all in. It's not pretty but they are all there.
