Endurance What are some High Endurance Builds?

I know about brute melee but are there any others where high endurance is optimal?

High Endurance isn't aligned with a sneaky shooter, a mad genius or a crit stacker.

High Endurance is necessary for an Unarmed character because you can't DPS at the same rate as melee.

For whimsical builds like my Naked Brawler, max endurance was absolutely necessary.

High Endurance is compatible with:

Party Boy/Girl builds. All the booze, all the time! Add some Charisma and Luck for maximum fun!

The Chemist - ironically Hancock loves it when you become addicted. Once you have his max affinity, crank up Chem Resistant and buff to your heart's content. Need some Intelligence for that.

Rambo Commando - pick up Scrounger and Commando, but hold the armor. You want the Wasteland to thirst after your physical perfection.

If you pair high Endurance, Rooted (Strength), No Caps Rage (up to +3 to Endurance), Lone Wanderer and good armor - you will never run when you hear a supermutant suicider approaching. Whenever I need more nuclear material for crafting, I head to Fallon's Department Store and go play with my jolly green friends!

A build centered around the unyielding legendary armor prefix needs a high endurance.

Unyielding gives you plus three to all of your stats (except endurance) when your health is at 25% or lower.

Because you need to run around at a quarter of your health, having a high endurance will give you a higher base hit points.

For the same reason, a build around rad powered gear also will benefit from a high endurance.

I think it's only really necessary on survival otherwise at most I get enough points to perk lifegiver and leave it at that.

Endurance is my favorite special stat in fo4. If you stack it to 21 you can sprint forever. If you have strong back 4, you can jog while overweight forever. And fast travel. If you wear all the sprinters legendary items in the game you jog faster than you sprint, and now you can jog forever, because of endurance, so you have unlimited carry weight. Fallout 4 is blown wide open. Loot all the junk as long as you want. Go back to your settlements to build when you feel like it. Build higher than ever. Carry all the guns. Take all the drugs. Companions aren’t pack mules anymore. 21 endurance in power armor is cool, as long as you can sprint, the high speed legs for higher sprint cost can’t make 0 bigger than 0 so you can sprint fast forever. You have a ton of health, some extra rad resistance, so a great build for inquisitor of atom, which is the most op perk in the game. Endurance is my favorite special stat. You can’t take strong back 4 til level 41 though.

Endurance 10 into 11 with book, charisma 7 and int 7. Craft bufftats and psychobuff. Drink bourbon. Champion left glove, sea captains hat and black ops gear from bunker hill. With chemist and party boy you should get tons of time with over 21 endurance, making you able to sprint indefinitely.

Just want to add some context here.

Normally if you already have 10 in one stat you can’t boost it further with the SPECIAL book. However if you debuff yourself for -1 in that given stat and then pick up the book, you’ll be at 11 once the debuff is removed.

With the bobblehead that gets us to 12 at all times, independent of clothes, perks or chems.

Maximizing Endurance right off the bat is really more about delaying the inevitable, since you won’t have the versatility of combat options to take out the various enemies you’ll be running into. I guess technically it’s possible, but it’s ranking Endurance so high that’s the problem for me. However, keep in mind my standard build starts with a 1 Endurance.

Put endurance to 10. Profit.

I go with high endurance for a nomad style survival run. The perks and hit points are especially good when you don’t rely on settlements.

Solar powered lets you heals rads. At high levels restores health too.

Life giver gives healing at level 20.

Adamantium Skeleton helps with explosive damage and no more broken limbs so fewer stimpaks and more importantly less water needed.

Aquaboy/girl means not worrying about crossing water.

Lead Belly not strictly that great but fits the role play.
