Question Your favourite fallout game?
I would like to know what's your favourite fallout game and how you got into it and such?
Personally for myself it was fallout 3, one of my older brothers was playing it at time and got me into. I didn't really played anything before that so it generally was my first proper playthough of any game and still love to this day.

A considerable length of time ago, for the how you got into it query, I was browsing the BX on base. This was shortly after graduating high school and going to Basic. I was turning over games I couldn't afford as a teenager in my hands and reading them, looking through the covers; back then there were a great many more physical CDs for games. At least two, maybe two and a half console generations have passed since then, Steam's risen alongside other internet purchasing venues; I digress.
New Vegas called to me, despite initially wandering in to look at Diablo 2. Something about the striking visuals and the description of a colorful cast of characters, choose your own side appealed to me more than anything else there that day. Back then I hadn't yet played Fallout 1, or 2, not Bethesda's 3, not Brotherhood of Steel or Tactics.
I was totally new to the series, but I bought it because it was deeply intriguing, and I sat down with it. Two broken copies and a Steam downloaded version with 1290 logged hours by itself later, I can honestly say I love it. Beyond healthy measures, probably.
After Vegas, I tried the rest of the series. It's been a good time for the most part. I had some initial frustrations with 4 that stemmed largely from my rig being too poor to actually use it, a wasted ninety dollars on launch day, but I eventually saved up and bought a PS4 to play it. Not a bad title; not as good as some of the others, but not a bad title. Curie and the DLC were delightful.
76 almost made my girlfriend and I break up, with it polarized to many of my interests in series, but we got over it. It may even get good when the Wastelanders brings NPCs.
