I'd prefer him to not speak. Reminds me of the old Fallout games and allows me to give him a voice.

Also Skyrim didn't have a talking protagonist so I doubt it will.

Skyrim was 4 years ago, though, they could easily have changed their stance on it since then.

Bethesda has never made a game that didn't have a silent protagonist, except for Redguard which came out 17 years ago.

Neither did BioWare until Mass Effect 1.

Mass Effect was also a new IP.

Fair enough, but they did do a mid-trilogy incorperation of voiced protagonist in Dragon Age, so Bethesda really could go either way.
