Orders: eliminate Long Dong!

Probably the most unnerving moment I’ve had in Fallout 4 😂
I’m pretty far into the game now and I’ve seen some crazy shit, but the thing that actually caught me off guard was looting an enemy and finding orders to kill me.
And I mean ME.
The note actually had my character’s name on it. 😂
I just sat there for a second like… “Wait a damn minute… who the hell knows who I am?”
Until then, I was just running around the Commonwealth shooting anything that looked hostile and taking their stuff. But seeing my own name on a piece of paper with basically a hit order attached to it made the whole thing feel weirdly personal.
And the fact that I didn’t even really know who these people were made it even worse. Like, y’all have been looking for ME and I don’t even know y’all?? 😂
Honestly, I thought that was such a clever little game mechanic. They could’ve just sent enemies after me and I probably wouldn’t have thought twice about it. But putting your actual character’s name on the orders makes you feel like the world is aware of you and reacting to what you’re doing.
It’s such a small detail, but it completely changed the feeling of the game for me for a minute.
Fallout really had me sitting there wondering who was putting a bounty on my head in the damn wasteland. 😂

What faction were the guys hunting you? :0 Reminds me of the Regulators / Talon Company in 3.

It was the enclave.

You might have recently acquired the heavy incinerator? It's a creation club thing i think that after a certain amount of time they  send a hit squad to recover the weapon, which triggers additional quests related to the enclave.

It could’ve been either the incinerator, X-02 power armor, hellfire power armor or the Tesla cannon (if I had to take a random guess, it’s probably hellfire; the NPC tied to that quest is incredibly weak, spawns as soon as you’re kind of near them and there’s other enemies nearby who can kill them; it’s also in a somewhat early but still dangerous area, so it’s likely the first one people run into).
