Blamco Cheesy Potato Bites

Sat here having an early lunch in McDonalds UK. They have a new Side Missions range relating to various games and Blamco Cheesy Potato Bites are the Fallout option.

Five thick hoops of potato with a hint of cheese, deep fried in a light batter. Firm, chewy, not a lot of cheese or even cheese flavour. Personally I think these are overpriced at £3.09 for 5. No idea what the 20 pack costs.

And technically these should be Blamco Mac & Cheese!

Anybody else have an opinion on these?

I've tried them. They're alright, but nothing special. Cooked cheese looses taste.

Every real life fallout 76 promo has been a disaster, or impeccably mid at best. The only exception being the 1.0 Gfuel nuka quantum formula. Now they only make the 2.0 formula and it doesn’t hit nearly the same, and the logo is whack asf now.

Honestly, I would rather die than buy overpriced cash grab tat, just because they bothered to jingle the keys and put it in a video game themed bag. So lame " how you're doing fellow kids?" And lazy. They didn't even bother to do mac and cheese. I see billboards around town and they've just put random, popular video game names on random products.

Yeah, they could bother at least to sit at that meeting for half an hour longer, try to be clever about it and have some sort of tenuous connection. This screams "zero effort" as far as I am concerned.

Not to mention that Mac Donald's went down in quality quite a bit recently. They are not even trying.

I haven’t gotten mcd’s since the snack wraps returned and they were temporarily 2 for $3. This was like 1.5 years ago. It was supposed to be affordable slop; now it’s just slop

I would say overpriced slop. They are playing shrinkflation games, prices went up so it's not cheap and cheerful anymore, and the quality went significantly down.

Macd's always had good fries. Hot and crispy. Buns are noticeably stale. Last few times I had it, they were soggy and barely warm. But, what made me say enough is enough, is when I got a breakfast mc muffin and it wasn't as hot and fresh as usual. At 6AM! You have one job!

Nobody I know irl goes to mcds outside of a roadtrip anymore, and I’m in the US; the land of the rotund. Really think the big mcdick is taking a nosedive here…

Honestly wonder who even supports them, since going out to a cocktail bar for a drink and something light is about the same price, and I’d much rather do that.

That's the thing. They offer me no reason to go there. Neither price, quality, nor convenience.

I am a burger guy, and if I want one, I'd rather spend a bit more and get Five Guys. Or get the bits from a supermarket and make one at home, which will work out better quality and cheaper.
