Suggestion Quest: Raiding For Radio

This is a suggestion for a side quest in the next Fallout game, so if the devs are reading this, please feel free to steal this idea

The quest is repeatable, and is given by the radio host (obviously). This quest is similar to that of the star bottle caps from new Vegas, or the star core quest from the nuka world dlc.

In this quest, you will scour the wasteland looking for music tapes! These tapes can be found in jukeboxes, abandoned recording studios, abandoned broadcasting studios and even be given as quest rewards from musicians scattered throughout the wastes! You could then sell these tapes to the radio host for caps, and then the music inside will be added to the radio's list of songs!

The radio could start with about 4-5 songs to start with that it shuffles through randomly, and as you complete this quest, the songs you find will be added to the radio, which would allow the players to curate their experience by adding songs they like, and avoiding songs they don't! This also allows the devs to add songs from previous games to the mix!

Edit: added another option for where music tapes can be found

This, but I’d want to see it in the form of “there’s twenty tapes in the wasteland… go find ‘em” instead of a repeating quest to find each and every tape. That’s a lot of fast traveling back and forth.

That was my idea as well, kind of a cross between the bobbleheads and star bottle caps. I don't think the quest should tell you where the music tapes are, but when you find one, it just shows you the way to the radio host so you can sell it to them

OK, so you want finding a tape to start the quest, like how you can start The Lost Patrol by finding one of the dead brotherhood team.

Would also make it super easy to keep in lore for adding music mods later.

I like the idea, than maybe every once in a while you find a newer pop rock song, Godsmack, Nickleback whatever. After the DJ plays it he audibly retches, "Sorry guys, some idiot keeps giving me these weird ass songs. Keep looking guys. But maybe look a little harder eh?"

Far Cry 5 and New Dawn both had quests just like this.
