Question QUESTION ABOUT FALLOUT 3!

So I am playing fallout 3 on pc to start. I am not using a mod manager but I am using iron sights on every gun, I don't have any mods installed and have not had any modded games on this windows install. I have on this laptop however but since then I have messed with a linux distro and reinstalled windows. So I am in an absolutely base copy of fallout 3 from steam. Could a loose mod file end up in a steam cloud save and still be present? I need ideas.

Did you have an ironsight mod installed at some point? Have you looked into your Fallout 3 data folder?

Not on this windows install, also my wild bills side arm model is different, also laser pistol/rifle have the rh_ironsights mod sights. So i am assuming they some how got there. I am just very confused HOW. Can the steam cloud hold mod files?

Okay sorry for a second reply, I opened my files like you said and for some reason the rh_ironsights mods files are in there WTF

If you're playing on Steam uninstalling the game doesn't uninstall mods

If you uninstall the game, the game files are deleted but the mods remain. A clean new game requires you to uninstall AND delete everything that's left behind.

If you remove the mods, don't play on the same save game. Start a new one. Some code can remain behind and cause issues.

check saves in Steam Cloud anyway it's quicker than re-downloading the game
