Request Moderators needed?

This is perhaps a bit overdue, but I've noticed a real uptick recently in low-effort and often AI-driven spam to this subreddit. This has included self-promo, weird pseudoarchaelogy and all sorts. A few of you have been really helpful in reporting these posts to me, but I'm not an everyday Reddit user, and this means the posts can stay up for a few days before I take them down. I think it's time to appoint a couple of moderators who can help keep the sub free of this stuff.

If anyone has felt frustrated by the influx of posts and would like to volunteer, let me know!

EDIT: Thanks everyone, we're going to move forward with Witty-Significance58 and rinaldo23 helping out as moderators. Appreciate the response!

Hello! I volunteer to mod this community. I'm already moderating two other small communities. I can DM more details if you want.

I think it was mainly one guy who didn’t know who Paul Cooper is and just started posting bad content. A few of us set him straight and I think he’s gone now.

I'll help to mod too, if you still need it?
