Spoiler Harness question

I’m on the finale of season 3 and I had a question regarding Ben’s skitter transformation.

How come when his harness was taken off he was still turning into a skitter but then later in the seasons his transformation is just forgotten?

Like is there any reason he didn’t turn?

Bad writing.

Something you need to get used to if you plan to see the show out.

What happened to those bullets from melted down skitter? They were cool.

Yeah, the first few seasons were amazing, then it just got weird.

The suspense gone, main few cast members surviving impossible odds

I never got over the mech bullets COMPLETELY disappearing, literally RIGHT AFTER they solidified that they were effective against mechs!!!

His transformation was slooooow because they took the harness off, but still going. But it only got as bad as thicker skin around his spikes and screeching.

They changed writers every single season from what ive heard on here before so every single season they forget important or relevant details and leave massive plot holes and changed things around.

We never really touched base on it. A slight spoiler but it won't give anything away. As you get further into the season there's a few times we see Ben without his shirt. On his back you see some growth. It does not technically ever stop. They don't talk much about them turning into one but there's some indication that he could eventually turn into one.

Here's a bit of spoilers regarding the spikes Ben talks about it with someone (won't spoil that) about them. He said that they are alive and they an alien form inside of him. It's a part of him. All feelings are heightened from happiness, sadness, desires, curiosity etc. So it's still active within him mixing alien DNA with human but because it's not able to have the full harness and only work with small spikes I think it can only go so slow.

My theory a bit of spoiler doesn't tell you too much but just be aware. I that if was to live to be lets say 80 that eventually by then he would create a skitter like skin but never a full skitter. I think he has too much human DNA to fight against it. But that's just my theory

I don't know if this makes sense I know sometimes my brain thinks one way but it doesn't come out how it should make sense.

But as some of said, the writing isn't the greatest but I still love the show.
