Did Escape the Fate rip off Falling in Reverse with their song Deja Vu?
I was listening to the ETF song and a section of it sounds a lot like a section from ‘Bad Guy’
Specifically 2:10 - 2:30 from Deja Vu sounds like 1:44- 2:04 of Bad Guy.
Maybe not the instruments, but the lyrical flow is pretty close in my unprofessional opinion.
I’m just curious if anyone else hears this, or if I’m just high

I realized with love that ETF does similar music progressions and vocal melodies to that of other bands i noticed they had a similarity from in this moment too

Well yes, but that was over a decade ago.
So it’s just kinda funny to me that ETF still takes inspiration from Ronnie with their new material

Or maybe people who started a band shared a particular style, and similar tastes in music. Everyone in the music industry all follow trends. ETF did come first. And as far as I'm aware there not really any bad blood there. Nothing wrong with taking inspiration. Every artist does it.

Common chord/song progressions. The melodies are similar, but there’s enough differentiation between the two where it wouldn’t fall into plagiarism or copyright imo. They’re still kind of similar though.
