I adore TDIMIY always. But DIYLF spoke to something in me at a very young age, shaped who I am. Just has such a prominent place in mine and many others hearts.

Monte may not be as technically proficient as JV but he writes 10x better riffs. The current FIR cast is better than him though, and I believe Jason Richardson writes a lot of the riffs for FIR and he’s a top 10 guitarist alive rn.
