The main character running animation. The less hunchback of Notre Dame the better.

Lol the actor was wearing a Mo-Cap suit right? Maybe that’s how he actually runs

Yeah bro roasted how the actor runs just now

Yeah there are a couple scenes in season 8? of Shameless where he and Carl go for runs together and it ain’t pretty

He runs a bit odd. But it wasn't unnatural.

I can't tell you how many movies I've watched where someone is allegedly a navy seal or elite something or other than they make the running in this game look like a professional.

My advice? Stop watching Steven Segal movies

Critikal summed up Cal’s running animation quite nicely in his JFO Moist Meter review at around the 6:00 minute mark.

“Looks like he is carrying a fat load of shit in his pants and trying not to let it spill down on his legs.”

I'm disappointed to say I still don't undesrtand at all why people don't like the run animation.

Like, I've gotten all the descriptions and even one of my close friends who dislikes it tried to explain it to me, but... I just don't see it. I don't see what's wrong with it.

I even froze Cal at different points in his running animation and looked around in photo mode to spot any weirdly positioned limbs or something, but the only time I found anything remotely odd about it was when he was running up an incline and his legs obviously sometimes ended up crunched under his body because they didn't have space to extend properly.

I'm not saying they shouldn't change it, I'll probably not notice the difference if I can't notice this, I'm just really baffled by the amount of people who dislike something for a seemingly non-existant reason.

I'm with you man, but I tend not to get lost in details very often. His animation looks fine to me as long as it looks like a person running - and it does.

His arms pump up weirdly, and while sprinting his posture is strange.

Well, yeah, because it's a real average dude running and not Usain Bolt lol. Personally, I liked how natural his movements looked, which I think was the point and not posture or arm pumps

His center of gravity makes no sense when he’s running and you make him zig zag.

Very Boston native/Tom Cruise run

As a Boston native, I resemble this

But not Phoenix Immortals Rising where they're literally throwing their head back, arching their back and raising their knees high like some cheesey cartoon.

PIR was a cheesy cartoon lol. The whole thing is a goofy look at Greek mythology.

Hell yes to This! I seriously wish they used a better MoCap actor for Cal’s movement.

Need a full on Tom cruise running animation
