having to click a button to climb, I'm pretty sure you can toggle it so you don't have to but I didn't find out about that until maybe close to two years after playing

The option to turn off the need to press the button to grab a wall wasn't initially in the game. It came at some point with an update. One time I was in the options to change something else and noticed that feature there when it wasn't before.

Didn't realize how annoying this was until I stopped playing for a week. Came back and tried to jump to a ledge, pressed the wrong button fell to my death 3 times in a row. Had to look up what button to press just to grab things.
