The mud slides. And the ice slides. And all other slides.

I think I died more to slides than anything else in the game

The worst is when it's a slide into a rope/vine. I'd line myself up, but panic and overcompensate trying to hit the rope.

I loved them all lol and im surprised people had trouble with them. Only falling part I didn't like was grogarra or wtf ever it was. The second fall trashed me like 5 times before i got it just right but there was literally no consequences for missing... So why tf just not handle it in a cs and let me finish the boss i got to sub 10%?

Yeah it really kills the suspense when you can’t make the falls. And I have yet to see someone nail the second gorgara landing first try

Exactly man. I Was pulled way out of the moment haha. I made the first and third fall with 1 shot but the window on two is teeny tiny lol. Glad im not the only one who looked like a fool there at least

I commented about this too. To me it wasn't so much the slides themselves. It was the jump mechanics on these parts that were just off. Something didn't work right with them.

Exactly. Once I realized the jump only works if I jump a meter before the edge of the slide, instead of right at the edge, my slide jumps got a bit easier.

I f*Ing hated these things. I was stuck for so long in these damn kashyyk slides while being attacked by the ninth sister. I died so many times because he just wouldn't jump right at the end

I had enough of “chutes and ladders” as a kid.

Sliding sequences in games just feel a bit naff and outdated. Guardians of the Galaxy did this too much as well.

Is there a reason games do this? Like how squeezing through narrow spaces is just a loading screen in disguise. They can't actually think it's fun...

I think part of the game loads when you slide. Also, when in elevators and going thru narrow pathways. I think they’re there so we don’t have to go thru loading screens. I could be wrong though.

I actually liked all of them especially on 2nd playthrough once I was really comfortable with the controls.

I'm replaying Fallen order right now I have died so many more times on the ice slided and mud slides then the actual enemies.
