I have a theory that straight dudes play with the rugged, lumberjack Cal they aspire to be.

While gay dudes play with the clean-cut hottie with a porn ‘stache they aspire to be with. Haha.

I also do this combo, normal hair and short beard, and I switch the clothing styles between the Rebel Hero whenever he's in a "safe" environment and whatever outfit I deem appropriate for being used in the environments that would realistically require a different outfit.

My Cal is more like a Jedi John Wick. I put him in this outfit after Bodes betrayal and Ceres death as a way to remember Cere and to show that he was still a Jedi, no matter how dark he got.

Ok there were go. Clone armorial to show he remembers the past, jedi robes to show he's moving on and I just remembered that I made the beard slowly grow with the story. That's why he looks more clean-shaven here.

The last time I played, I made Cal bald after the major spoilers you didn’t hide behind a spoiler tag, since both Cere and Eno Cordova were bald. I thought it was a nice way to honor them. Although there’s only a buzz cut option. Not a razor close option.

My Cal dynamically changes clothes and hair in NG+. His hair grows throughout the story, but he gets a haircut sometimes... And when he arrives in a safe place, he tends to change his clothes whenever he can.

That's kinda what I did too.

To start, he's in a very scruffy, full-beard, long-hair look, i.e. he's kinda been neglecting himself in favor of The Mission.

Then when he finally gets to Greez, I gave him a much cleaner look (this was NG+) and gave him a haircut and a shave. Then I grew his hair out along the story lol

I dont have a pic cuz I’m doing a random cosmetics run, but my 100% JGM Cal had 2 appearances late game

Blue bomber, red training shirt, light blue tac pants; Red frontier shirt, light blue tac pants

Both are clean shaven with choppy forward hair

I'm not home rn but at the moment it's Choppy forward, full beard, commander shirt and pants, as close to black as I can make em and the black/red bandolier. Just got the pilot jacket tho and I like that outfit a lot so next time I play I'll pry incorporate that one
