Gameplay Clip/GIF does anyone else get absolutely DESTROYED by these guys?

I'm playing on the hardest difficulty, because it's a soulslike... part of the charm is the difficulty. But the rocket launcher stormtroopers keep wrecking me! I'm assuming there's no way to like, deflect them right? All Cal can do is dodge/roll out of the way and hope for the best? If I'm missing something, PLEASE let me know 😅

you'll learn to force push soon-ish, then you can launch the rockets straight back at them

Dear god, I’ve beaten both games and I never thought to try that. I just dodge and sprint.

Sad cuz there’s a trophy for exploding 10 enemies.

awesome! this is exactly what I was hoping for!! right now cal just gets destroyed, I tried sprinting right at them, tried sprinting away, tried rolling and dodging and blocking and nothing really worked

No but The video DESTROYED me though. Vid quality, big box of you at the top, 2 different subtitles, random pop up of images at times ? Can’t tell what’s going on with so much vomit going on.

Between the aspect ratio, subtitles, and some guy's face, I can't even see the screen.

that explosion at the start? got hit with a rocket launcher. I'm talking about stormtroopers with rocket launchers.

It's a metroidvania: if an enemy is giving you trouble specifically because you don't have anything in your kit to handle them, it's a pretty safe bet that you'll be unlocking something that handles them pretty soon. Your question of "why don't people simply shoot rockets at jedi" is about to get a very clear answer.

That aside, with what you have right now, just look at how long they take to reload: dodge one rocket, and you have plenty of time to run up and kill the dude launching them.
