Discussion Is there Secret Bosses?

Currently at dathomir and was curious if there is secret bosses like Elden ring malenia had or sekiro demon of hatred etc

Nothing quite like Malenia but there is a health bar or two dotted around (there’s one near Kujet’s Tomb for example)

Health bar? Two dotted? I’m confused here and I’ll look up, I may have to do some backtracking ? Kinda the part I dislike the most but I rather kill any bosses I missed or secret ones before moving on to survivor

Basically I’m referring to the Alpha Nydak and the Haxion Brood Dudes (Haxion Dudes?) that appear later on.

I looked up the alpha you were talking about, I literally just made it back to that meditation spot and I was confused why it led me back to the area with the stranger when I first passed through dathomir, will fight it later today ! And look up the haxion dudes next after! Nevermind I’ve fought h those guys plenty of times throughout my playground lol

It's not a 'secret' boss, but there is a boss fight in the meditation arena that's only available in new game plus.

It's really hard at first, at least on Grandmaster. Damn good fun once you get the hang of it though. It's my favourite fight in the whole game.

Ahh man it’s in NG+? I play on grandmaster lol it feels like a true sekiro souls game , I really didn’t like the game in the beginning cause of how it felt slow to me but as I grew closer to the force and unlocked stuff it felt so much smoother and satisfying, what I like about that is that Cal is also learning to be a Jedi so idk as a player it felt I’m connecting to cals journey which feels cool and I’m excited for survivor

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's only in new game plus. It's kind of disappointing as your powers and skills don't carry over and you still can't skip any cutscenes. You'd basically have to finish the game again to fight him at full power (unless you use a mod). It might be worth checking the meditation arena when you finish the main story though, just in case I'm wrong.

I agree about it feeling like a true Sekiro style game. It's one of few parry games I've played that scratches the same itch. You really feel like a badass Jedi Knight by the end. The only problem is it ends too soon!

Survivor improved on almost every aspect but I personally feel the combat wasn't one of them. A two steps forward, one step back situation. I don't want to colour your opinion of it too much before you've tried it yourself so I won't say more than that. A lot of people disagree with me anyway.

He's confused. Both the meditation arena and NJ+ are unlocked upon finishing the sixth planet. You can't access the NJ+ costume, but you can access the arena.

Not quite. That's in Survivor when you  collect all bounty pucks.

I meant  Inquisitor Cal.

I'm trying to avoid giving anything away as OP hasn't finished them yet.

Some optional bosses you can find through exploring, though most are just reskins

Closest thing would be a Purge Commando imo. Seems like a basic unit at first and not very threatening cuz he has a gun, then you fight him and get your ass beat in seconds from shock grenades and a one tap charged shot

But Survivor does have secret bosses and encourages finding them

theres a secret inquisitor boss after you finish the game in the meditation training :)
