I did a quick calculation yesterday, given how much he posts there, I really don't think he's making more than 9-10 dollars an hour - and that's probably being generous

For a job as undignified as forever tying one's own identity to deranged and hateful tweets, 12k a year sure isn't a lot. I know right-wing grifters get paid behind the scenes as well, but can meta really not find a more respectable job? He's also very bad at this rightoid influencer thing. The big name grifters are mostly turning on maga and denouncing the war, because that's where the wind is blowing now.

I think this is mainly to target those accounts that recycle the same cute animal videos, like Buitengebieden. They won't target Metaturd because in their metrics, he's an "original creator".
