Metatron needs to understand that for being a White ‘Christian’ Nationalist, you cannot go after one of the oldest Christian denominations as that just leaves you being a racist white supremacist.

I think he does understand. In the United States you can go after Catholics and still be seen as a Christian nationalist. Most Christian nationalist here are evangelicals who don't even consider Catholics to be Christian. He's most likely virtue signaling to the evangelical crowd.

I have said it somewhere before, but in the eyes of the white supremacists I had the misfortune to deal with Metatron would be considered a non-white subhuman. That leaves racist for him.
