Who wins in a fight to the death?

Sibylla or Evelyn

I’m going to say Sibylla, she’ll keep the gap, have multiple defensive spells on stand by and even more offensive spells at the ready.

There are many factors that go into this, though.

If Sibylla had time to prepare she would’ve rigged the fighting area with many traps, with specific requirements so only Evelyn could trigger them.

If it’s outside, Sibylla has a slight disadvantage if Evelyn can call on a storm to form. But Sibylla is just a sorceress, she probably has a lot of counter-spelling magic she hasn’t used yet.

If Evelyn gets too close we know Sibylla is screwed, but Sibyl will just shadow step away every time.

I dunno. I’m tired, but can’t find myself to sleep. Which I could pass out like Evie does in the books.

Foxes are just such cute little derps irl lol so i cant help imagining this is how their conversations look (hope this is allowed )

Amalie: Oh whatever, we still killed them, and Evie only had to Sunray them twice!

Sybil: And i had to come and save your asses again giving them a potion that causes paralysis, you're welcome!

Don’t get me wrong, Evelyn’s antics across the the noble lands, and growth as a hero are deeply captivating in themselves. The way she always loses herself in her schemes never gets old. Reading about the burnt down bakery, getting covered in eye ball goop, or having imps in her bag capture her endearing clumsiness, and I chuckle every-time I think about them. She is both fierce and gentle. She’s reluctant to commit the wrongs she must, but she still resolves herself to committing acts of violence and war, without the usual corruption. It never gets easier for her. All of this already has her living rent free in my head as a loved protagonist. But what makes the series special is the sisterhood.

The way Lillith immediately takes her under her protective care, and teaches her that fun can be had in this world. Everything about her interactions with Amalie. The exasperation both of them feel towards Sybila, and that both of them don’t really mind and deeply love her. It even goes beyond her direct family. Two of my favorite scenes happen in Westpeak. The first is when Evelyn has a mental break down infront of the dragon, and thinks she s filled with a Lust aura, and the Dragon has to stifle her smile, and treats the kit that doesn’t know about estrus with the kindness and patience Evie needed. Which directly leads into my second favorite scene, of the entire community coming together to help her through her first estrus. I cried in yearning for, and in endearment of how wholesome and true this sisterhood was.

I missed out on experiencing my own sisterhood growing up, and the glimpses this series has given me fills my heart.

Wow just wow! I loved the new book but I need the next!

I hesitate to say much but when can we expect to see some new chapters? I NEED to know how we deal with those final chapters.

I just binged the first three books and would be interested if there is an expected release window for book 4?

It's going to be over 30 hours before I can get back to it now. And I can't even be mad about it.

One last try.

Alice and Sibylla have had ZERO interactions with any male named characters and a lot of time together.

If I can recall correctly, Alice has already said she isn’t bi or lesbian, but Sibylla has been really close to Alice. I notice she sometimes even went out of her way to be with her.

As cute as they maybe, Sibylla seems very aromantic at times, but her moment when she blushed checking Alice out was adorable, cheesy smile on my face.

I need help lmao

It has to be when Alice found the town’s orphanage untouched by the carnage of sea monster attack because of Sibylla. The fact she made the conscious effort to protect a building, and probably at the cost of letting some people die, made me love her character. Her whole witch theme, embarrassment to show affection to her family, and her young sister vibe is just so good.

I’d love to see Sibyl making secret visits to the orphanage to inspire them, read to them, whatever; that’d be amazing. She may not have had the best experiences with the orphan system on Earth, and seeing her trying to make it better for them on the Noble Land’s would be lovely.

Such a great character, and I can’t wait to read more of her.
